Two brand-new STEM modules have just been added to The World Almanac® for Kids Elementary:
- Energy: This new module explores all aspects of energy, from the basics, such as kinetic and potential energy, to topics such as energy of motion, energy transfer, and using—and saving—energy resources. Students can also find games and puzzles on energy-related topics.
- Math: Geometry: The new geometry module offers an elementary-level introduction to the basics of the subject. Sections on plane shapes such as circles and triangles, solid shapes, points and lines, angles, and coordinate geometry include clear illustrations and helpful glossaries.
Each module is fully illustrated and includes Fun Facts articles and related videos. In addition, educators can find printable handouts for each module under Teacher Resources.
