A new module—Countries of the World—has just been added to The World Almanac® for Kids Elementary. Countries of the World covers more than 190 nations, with profiles covering population, major cities, industries, and more—plus maps, flags, and images. The latest population statistics from The World Factbook, U.S. Department of Commerce, and the Central Intelligence Agency are included. Fun Facts articles on topics such as “Top 10 National Dishes,” “Where Do People Live?” and “Seven Wonders of the World” round out the module.
Countries of the World joins other kid-friendly, curricular modules in The World Almanac® for Kids Elementary, including First Civilizations, Reader’s Corner, America in Word & Song, and many more.
