Infobase is delighted to announce that World Religions is among the winners of Tech & Learning magazine’s 35th Annual Awards of Excellence in the “Best Upgraded Products” category.
This award honors previously released products that have made notable enhancements in an effort to keep up with changing technology. The software, hardware, network, app, and web products honored by the magazine include applications that its panel of educators deemed groundbreaking as well as those that added significant enhancements to established education tools. A panel of Tech & Learning advisors who tested hundreds of entries chose the winners.
With a dynamic new design, new features, and expanded coverage, the recently relaunched World Religions database explores religion and spirituality in an objective manner, from the ceremonies of the first practitioners to the elaborate rituals of today. It is a two-time winner of The ComputED Gazette‘s Best Educational Software Award (BESSIES) and also earned an honorable mention in SLC/ARBA’s Best of Reference Awards in the “Best Electronic Reference Resource (Database or eBook)” category.
Other Infobase products that have won Tech & Learning‘s Annual Award of Excellence include Issues & Controversies in 2015 and the streaming digital delivery service Learn360, which won the award twice—in 2011 and in 2012.
