Infobase is happy to announce that Classroom Video On Demand has been selected as a winner of The ComputED Gazette’s 21st Annual Education Software Review Awards (EDDIES), in the “Multi-Level Online Video Database” category. Infobase’s Science Online was also a winner (“High School Science Website” category).
The renowned EDDIE awards program targets “innovative and content-rich software (including apps for iPad and Android) and websites that augment the classroom curriculum and improve teacher productivity, providing parents and teachers with the technology to foster educational excellence.” Award winners are chosen annually and selected from titles submitted by publishers worldwide. The ComputED Gazette has previously awarded EDDIES to other Infobase products, including its Middle/High School eBook Collection, American History Online, Issues & Controversies, Bloom’s Literature, The World Almanac® for Kids Online, Today’s Science, Great Empires of the Past Online, and Issues & Controversies in American History.
The Classroom Video On Demand streaming video service serves the specific needs of students who are preparing for college, by providing top-quality video across the entire high school curriculum, including life skills and guidance. It’s ideal for high schools that want targeted content, tailored specifically to their level, rather than a collection that pools the entire range of K–12 content into one platform.
