Social Emotional Learning Starts with Us: Empowering Adults in Higher Education: Webinar
Developing SEL skills is an ongoing process. In order for administrators and those in higher education to create conditions for teachers and students to effectively engage in SEL, they themselves need to experience and reflect on SEL strategies firsthand. This session, featuring Trisha DiFazio and Allison Roeser of SEL & Beyond, will explore SEL through the lens of higher education and examine issues specific to higher education leadership.
Participants will:
- Understand the benefits of each of the five SEL core competencies and how they relate to the participants’ unique role.
- Reflect and build upon personal SEL best practices.
- Be provided with easy-to-implement strategies that can be used anytime, anywhere.
