The World Almanac® for Kids Elementary: New Modules on Citizenship, Community, and Geography

Just in time for back to school, The World Almanac® for Kids Elementary now has three brand-new modules, bringing the total number of kid-friendly, curricular modules to 31:

  • Being a Good Citizen: Features thoughtful articles, Fun Facts, and videos on how to be a good citizen at home, at school, and in the community.
  • Families, Neighborhoods, and Communities: Discusses the fundamental groups and relationships of which we are a part, covering topics such as “What Is a Family?”, “Characteristics of Neighborhoods,” and “Getting Along in a Community.” Fun Facts and videos enhance the text.
  • Maps, Globes, and Landforms: Covers how to use maps and globes, 17 types of landforms—including basin, canyon, continent, delta, peninsula, and plain—and 10 types of bodies of water, including bay, gulf, harbor, ocean, river, and stream. Includes Fun Facts, videos, and interactive games.
