Students enter college with a primary goal of graduating with a job. As they begin their studies, 63% are not even prepared to succeed in college. Half of all students change majors, graduation rates can be less than 50%, and a high percentage of students do not even think about the job search until the last year or semester. Then, the students just start applying for jobs with minimal preparation. Our students are stressed and overwhelmed.

Feeling prepared to graduate and landing their dream job greatly reduces the stress of these students. Feeling prepared to even apply for their dream job is even more important. Pre-application readiness is key and often overlooked. Today’s students desire simple and easy-to-use solutions and guidance to prepare or study.

Join Dr. Thomas D. Iwankow as he discusses the issues students face before applying to jobs and how career development resources can help.

In the webinar, you will learn:

  • Challenges and expectations that lead to student stress around career success.
  • Best practices that can be implemented by career centers to decrease stress.
  • Steps to provide your students to create an effective career development plan.
  • Why Forbes refers to Vault-Firsthand as the “CliffsNotes for Careers.”
