New sections on two Canadian national parks—Banff National Park and Prince Edward Island National Park—have just been added to The World Almanac® for Kids’ America’s National Parks module, bringing the total number of parks covered to 17. Each section includes articles and images on the following topics:
- The history of the park
- Geography and geology
- Key features of the national park
- Flora and fauna
- Plan your visit
- Facts and figures
In addition, information on the Canadian National Parks System can be found in each of the two new modules as well as in The National Park Service section.
