Ferguson’s Career Q&A Videos Add Career Exploration Insights

, as We are delighted to announce an exciting new new Ferguson’s Career Q&A videos to enhance Ferguson’s Career Guidance Center.

The new series augments our Professional Advice and Insight video collection. The interviews—36 to start, with more on the way—give users a clear, insider view. They feature working professionals in many fields, like actors, dentists, and fashion designers. Additionally, they include Internet security specialists, special education teachers, and more.

What Is a Career Q&A Video?

In each Career Q&A video, a working professional answers 10 questions about the job and industry. The questions cover main duties and how the person got started. They also cover education or training needed. They include the workplace setting and a typical day at work, as well as industry goals and challenges. In response, interviewees share advice for young people entering the field. All interview subjects  represent a diverse range of locations, industries, functions, and experience levels.

How to Access the Career Q&A Videos

You can either simply click on the new “Career Q&A Videos” on the right-hand side to access a full list of the available Q&A videos, or select from the “Explore Industries & Careers” drop-down menu at the top of the page.

Also, from the Profession profiles that feature these new videos, you can click on the new “Watch Career Q&A Video” icon that displays at the top of the page to see the video.

The segments in each video are conveniently listed on the right in the video player, making it easy to go directly to the part of the video that most interests you.
