Science Online CODiE Awards Finalist Recognition for Facts On File

Infobase is pleased to announce its acclaimed Science Online database. It was selected as a Finalist in the Software & Information Industry Association’s 23rd Annual CODiE Awards. It is a finalist in the “Best Education Reference or Search Service” category.

The CODiE Awards have been a top honor for the software and information industry for 23 years. They represent the only peer-reviewed honor in the industry. Facts On File’s Science Online was one of five finalists. It was in the “Best Education Reference or Search Service” category.

The award-winning Science Online database provides a comprehensive, curriculum-oriented overview of a broad range of scientific disciplines. LIbrarians, educators, and students have praised for reliable information and many useful formats. These include videos, animations, experiments, and diagrams. It also offers essays, biographies, and regularly updated news articles. It includes definitions and an extensive timeline. Content is updated regularly, and enhancements are consistently being made to meet the evolving needs of schools and libraries.
