Credo Reference: What's New and What's Next
Credo Reference has always been the ideal place to start a research project and develop information literacy skills. Our recent platform relaunch reflects that commitment, featuring a completely updated design and purpose-built features. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, and your ongoing feedback is helping us make it even better.
Your partnership helps us continuously refine and improve the experience, and we’re pleased to share the latest enhancements, based on what we’ve heard:
- The Mind Map: Credo’s much-loved Mind Map has always been one of its standout features, and we’ve been hard at work making it even more powerful. After refining its algorithm to further improve the relevance of its connections, we launched a new improved Mind Map on April 14. It looks the same, but works better than ever.
- Search Relevancy: We combined relevancy and recency criteria to deliver stronger search results, and we’re committed to continuous improvement in this area. We’re currently running a pilot program to further refine search parameters, with major advancements expected by May.
- Search Within a Title: By popular demand, the ability to search within a particular title is coming back. Look for this feature by August.
- Title List: The new platform, like the old, offers a rich title list experience—fully sortable and searchable, via filters, by title name, copyright, subject area, or publisher. You can access a list by clicking the Collections tile available via the Explore button, or directly at: https://access.infobase.com/search?fms=book&aid=1234&brand=credo
We’re also working on making this list easier to find, so expect a more prominent access point soon.
- Search Filters: Credo’s search filters remain one of the most powerful ways to surface relevant content. We’ve already resolved a few minor glitches that appeared in the new interface—including one affecting the content type filter. If you’ve had issues, please try the filters again. We’re also researching ways to make the filters more intuitive and accessible..
There’s more to come. We’re developing some highly innovative, all-new features set to launch this fall. Stay tuned!
Thank you for your partnership in making Credo Reference the best it can be.
