BESSIE Award Winners Honor Two Infobase Databases

Infobase is pleased to announce that two of its online databases The ComputED Gazette‘s BESSIE Award winners.

The winners of the 21st Annual Best Educational Software Awards (BESSIES)? Bloom’s Literature in the “High School Literature Database Website” category, and Issues & Controversies in the “High School Social Studies Database” category.

The ComputED Gazette describes the BESSIES as awards that “target innovative, content-rich programs and Web sites.” These tools help parents and teachers use technology to support educational excellence. CompuED Gazette chooses award winners annually. The panel selects from titles submitted by publishers worldwide.

Notably, The ComputED Gazette has awarded BESSIES to other Infobase databases before. Specifically, these include Today’s Science, World News Digest, and The World Almanac® Online. They also include The World Almanac® for Kids Online and World Religions Online.
